A "Harambe" in Africa is like a "Barn-Raising" in early America.
Friends and neighbors come together to make quick work of erecting a barn--or in Bamboo, Kenya it meant a "Church Raising."
Friends, neighbors, and other churches combined their efforts to erect a new church for this community.
This photo shows only part of the excited crowd that came to dedicate this excellent new facility to God.
A couple other missionaries and I were nearly crushed against the door as the eager crowd surged to get in.
